The Merle Merklin Frenchies is a loving family dedicated to bring yours a PAW-fect addition to your home! We are a quality French Bulldog breeder, located in Nebraska, specializing in standard and exotic AKC French Bulldogs. We are a small frenchie loving family, with large frenchie loving hearts!! All of our frenchies are hand-raised in our home, loved and nurtured from the very beginning. Our litters will be posted periodically, as we intend to give our love and attention to one litter at a time ensuring health, quality, and happiness. This is our story…

We were unprepared to fall headfirst into the French Bulldog breed when we adopted our very first puppy into our house. Nobody saw this coming, and it has had a profound effect on our family. A Frenchie's disposition is unlike any other! We experienced something to look forward to every day as a family, just from the joy of puppy parenting — I know, we were equally surprised! It didn't take long for the subject of adopting another French Bulldog came into question, considering the wonderful experience we had being a part of his growth and seeing him discover everything the world had to offer him. In fact, this only lead to further conversation about breeding, the start of what brought us to this point today! Nonetheless, to give you a little background narrative that continues to amaze me — My name is Levi Merklin, the son of two parents who initially introduced me to the breed; changing my perspective entirely — a dog really is a mans best friend! Before this, close friends and relatives would tell you that I had no interest in animals, or hadn’t put any thought into owning one. That is just the Frenchie Power!

After about two years of consistently researching everything their is on the French Bulldog breed, analyzing genetics, health, structure, amongst all others — Thrilled with excitement; the time to finally put an idea into action! Exploring an array of puppies, until you spot what soon will become a member of the ever-growing Merle Merklin Frenchie family! Unexpectedly, that is when we discovered the darkness that falls within the breeding industry. Emotionally shattered coming to realization — not everyone may be a trusted breeder. Let me just say, health is vital to recognize with this breed; mandating breeder responsibility to gain an extensive comprehension before introducing them to this world. Everything we gained from a devastating experience — emotions of defeat flooded over me. Yet, instead of giving up, I embraced the importance of time. Devoted on ensuring families won’t have to experience any heartbreak —- providing them the true meaning of bringing home, not just a puppy, but a family member ready to live a healthy life!!
